Weirding Sustainability Festival | Weirding Sustainability Symposium
Date: Fri Jun 05 2026 00:00:00 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) at 09:30 - 13:45
Location: Alison Richard Building, 7 West Road, Cambridge CB3 9DP
An event by the LEAP Lab. We live in a time of global weirding, with massive destabilisation of social-ecological worlds, yet much policy and research on “sustainability” offers a green(washed) version of business-as-usual. This half-day event offers cross-disciplinary talks, discussions and hands-on activities to explore the questions: What does global weirding mean for us as researchers/creative practitioners/citizens? How might weirding of our own imaginations and practices spark more radical and meaningful change? Facilitators: The Weirding Sustainability Festival is co-funded by CRASSH and Anglia Ruskin University, and is a project of LEAP Lab.
