Tender Whispers from the Heart: An exhibition of embroidered poetry takes place in conjunction with Language, Craft and Community. About this exhibition This exhibition features the embroidered poems of students of the ‘Tender Whispers from the Heart’ course. Run monthly online throughout 2025 by Rebecca Devaney, textile artist and educator and founder of Textile Tours of Paris, and featuring regular talks on literature and craft by Dr Sura Qadiri, Associate Professor French at St Catharine’s College, themed sessions introduced participants to a range of poems in English and French as well as to artists and stitching techniques.
